Walking Tour

If you want a low-cost option for a youth group tour in Florida, schedule a free walking tour! This 45-minute stroll covers just over a mile of wetlands and pastures in Babcock Ranch. A group educational tour can teach kids how to identify wildlife and learn things like how to differentiate an alligator from a crocodile. All kinds of animals may be visible throughout the year, so make sure to carry binoculars and a camera!

Sounds of the Night Tour

The Sounds of the Night Tour is one of the specialty tours you can reserve for groups of 10 or more. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other youth groups can experience the great outdoors at night on a guided tour. It’s an opportunity to listen to the sounds of the forest. You may hear things like a screeching owl, the flapping wings of a bat, or maybe even a distant growl from a Florida panther. These tours are also a great way to teach kids about the night sky while stargazing.

Photography Tour

Not only can students learn more about nature at Babcock Ranch, but they can also acquire some new skills. Available once a month, the 2.5-hour tour takes scouts and youth groups on a photogenic ride through some of Florida’s most scenic backcountry. The Photography Tour begins at 7:30 am, covering extensive ground to unveil some great photo opportunities!
